Sports teams often have to take all the financial risk in pursuit of increased income. They have to buy products in large volumes in order to obtain favorable prices, so that they can resell at a profit. A lot of time and administration is spent selling the products, and if you do not sell everything, this results in the sports team losing money. This is time and money we believe should be spent on giving children and young people in the local community a better offer in sports.
The Solution
Through Supporter.no, we offer a free online store to all sports teams in Norway (soon more countries). The online store has no start-up cost, no monthly fees or lock-in period for the sports teams. Therefore, the threshold for trying our solution is very low.
We have also filled up the online store with supporter effects that the sports teams can sell to their members. Scale (via suppliers) is responsible for stock, printing, packaging and we send all orders / products directly home to those who shop in the sports teams' online store.
This means that the sports teams do not have to buy products, have inventory or deliver products themselves. In other words, no financial risk, no extra work but increased income for the sports teams.
For all transactions that are carried out in the sports teams' online stores, both the sports teams, Supporter and Scale make money.
